El Institut Guttmann promueve los juegos de patio inclusivos en el portal Dofins de Colors

The school yard is still a place where the inclusion and participation of all children, especially children with disabilities, is a handicap. Getting the children to play collaboratively and inclusively (regardless of their abilities) is not easy if the group is not run by teachers or monitors. For this reason, the Institut Guttmann launches a new pedagogical line in the website "Dofins de Colors" in order to promote precisely this: inclusive recreational time for all children.

"Dofins de Colors" is an initiative of the Institut Guttmann that is framed within the social activity of the foundation. The portal is aimed at education professionals as well as monitors of sports and leisure centers and their families, with the main objective of promoting the inclusion and socialization of children with disabilities. The methodology is based on cooperative pedagogy in the field of physical education and sport.

The "Dofins de Colors" initiative goes far beyond school practice, and after applying it in leisure centers in the summer months, now proposes to extend it to the playground at the schools. The project is then presented in a new educational aspect: Playground Games, to create transversal, participatory and inclusive activities that contemplate actions for the inclusion of children with disabilities, either by adaptation of methodologies, material, of tasks, or through other participatory variants. One of the goals of Dofins de Colors is to create an extensive catalog of games and educational activities for inclusion.

We encourage you to participate!
