The Fundació Institut Guttmann is a private, non-denominational, non-profit entity, driven by Catalan civil society. It is an efficient example of a public-private partnership.

The Fundació Institut Guttmann carries out its care, scientific and social activity in two centres located in Badalona and in the centre of Barcelona. From here it offers three initiatives dedicated to treating people with disabilities of neurological origin and to care, maintenance and prevention in the areas of health and quality of life.

Our goal is to be a leading healthcare institution in Neurorehabilitation and Brain Health, generating knowledge and innovation in techniques and technologies specific to our scientific field in order to improve prevention and results when treating pathologies that affect the nervous system.
