Students, professors, relatives and friends filled the Guttmann Institute Audit Room at the graduation ceremony of the Neurorehabilitation and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation Masters of the University Institute of Neurorehabilitation.

Dr. Josep M. Ramírez, Managing Director of the Institut Guttmann, welcomed the attendees and gave way to the speech of Professor Ignacio Morgado, Professor and Director of the Institute of Neurosciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​who spoke about the brain, mental processes and how life expectancy ends up affecting neurodegeneration, which highlights the importance and validity of our master degrees.

After the diploma delivery ceremony, the  rector of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Dr. Margarita Arboix made the closing speech of the event. The Rector highlighted the importance of the UAB as a reference university at the international level, and encouraged future professionals to carry out their vocation from the most humanistic point of view.

The University Institute of Neurorehabilitation of the Institut Guttmann has been a UAB-affiliated center since 2001. In 2010, it launched the two official master's degrees adapted to the European Higher Education Area with the aim of promoting the specialized training of health professionals linked to the world of Neurorehabilitation, while promoting Knowledge of the techniques and experiences that favor the health and the quality of life of the people affected by a physical disability.
