Doctor of Pharmacy and graduate in Pharmacy from the University of Granada, specialist in Hospital Pharmacy at the University Clinical Hospital of Valladolid. She is also a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Care.

During her career as a clinical pharmacist, her activity focused on outpatient care in treatment with selective immunosuppressants, where she developed a telematic pharmaceutical care model that was the precursor to the current telepharmacy. She is currently responsible for the Pharmacy service at the Institut Guttmann, where she performs medication management tasks and actively participates in the center's teaching and research activity.
