Dr. Soler has a degree in Psychology from the University of Barcelona and a doctorate in Neuroscience from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. She holds a master’s degree in Neuropsychology (UB) in Psychobiology and Cognitive Neuroscience (UAB) and a master’s degree in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy (UB).

She has carried out her professional activity at the Neurorehabilitation Hospital of the Institut Guttmann since 1992 where she combines clinical practice with research and teaching. She is a specialist in psychosocial adaptation processes after a neurological injury, loss processes and life changes, as well as stress management. She believes that being the mother of a daughter with a disability has enriched her professional work.

In recent years she has developed her expertise in the application of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques in pain of neurological origin. Pain is the cause of great suffering and is still an area that needs to be addressed by health systems. She is the author of different publications in the international arena on the treatment of chronic pain.
