A night to remember: Guttmann thrills with the premiere of the documentary “Titans, la historia d'un no” in front of 500 people.

Last Friday, more than 500 people filled the SLS Hotel in Barcelona for the premiere of the documentary “Titans, la historia d'un no” an evening that brought together professionals, patients, families, friends, and institutions around a story that embodies the essence of Guttmann.

The premiere allowed the public to share the feat of the first team made up of people with diverse disabilities and professionals from the Guttmann Neurorehabilitation Hospital to complete the Škoda Titan Desert Morocco 2025, one of the most demanding mountain biking events in the world.

The documentary recounts much more than a sporting adventure: it tells the story of four patients with neurological injuries and five Guttmann professionals who decided to prove that limits are not always where we are told they are. For six days, they crossed the Moroccan desert, overcoming dunes, rocky tracks, mud, rain, and extreme temperatures, until they completed a feat that many had considered impossible.

As the Chair of the Board of Trustees, Ms. Núria Basi, reminded us, this story is also a testament to Guttmann's commitment to inclusion and its desire to pave the way: to tell stories that transform perspectives and inspire all those who, every day, face their own personal "Titan Deserts."

The presence of the President of the Parliament of Catalonia, the Honorable Mr. Josep Rull, who closed the event, brought to a close an evening filled with emotion, pride, and a strong sense of community.

The quality of the documentary, the sensitivity with which the adventure is recounted, and the shared emotion with an attentive, engaged audience deeply connected to the story made the evening an extraordinary moment, as demonstrated by the moving standing ovation the audience gave the participants at the end of the screening.

A memorable evening that reminds us why Guttmann exists and makes us feel, once again, profoundly proud to be part of this great family.

The documentary "Titans, la historia d'un no" will be available soon on streaming platforms.
