Nearly 3,000 people participated in the Ponle Freno charity run through the streets of Badalona to support victims of traffic accidents and promote road safety awareness.
The funds raised will go to the Game Over program of the Fundació Institut Guttmann, which focuses on preventing traffic accidents among young people through educational and awareness-raising initiatives that have already reached more than 900,000 students in Catalonia.
Guttmann's manager and co-director, Ms. Montse Caldés, accepted the donation check at the end of the day and took the opportunity to thank everyone for their participation, as well as the organizing and collaborating entities for their commitment to road safety and traffic accident prevention.
Guttmann's participation in this event aligns with its work in raising awareness and preventing neurological injuries, especially those resulting from traffic accidents.
