We recently received the visit from Mr. Marc Saura, Secretary of State for Business, Economic Diversification and Innovation of the Government of Andorra, accompanied by Ms. Judit Hidalgo, Director of Andorra Business, and Mr. Alex Marfany, Managing Director; Ms. Alba Casamayor, Laboratory Director, and Ms. Raquel Calderón, Laboratory Technical Director of Cellab.

Representing the Institut Guttmann, they were received by Dr. Montserrat Bernabeu, Co-Director and Clinical Director; Ms. Montse Caldés, Co-Director and Manager; Dr. Javier Solana, Research Director; and Dr. Joan Vidal, Teaching Director.

The visit included a working session with the Co-Directors, the Research Director, and the Teaching Director focused on the Neurorecovery Advanced Therapies project, followed by a tour of several of the center’s most representative facilities.

This meeting is part of the Institut Guttmann commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 3 Good Health and Well-being and SDG 9 Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, as well as the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, in line with articles 25 and 26, which promote innovation and scientific evidence-based approaches.
