The Fundació Institut Guttmann presents its new Code of Ethics, a document that establishes the framework of principles and values ​​that guide the actions of everyone within the institution. The document reflects the organization's commitment to responsible conduct, based on respect, dignity, responsibility, and trust—values ​​that should guide decision-making as well as relationships with patients, families, professionals, partner organizations, and the community.

The Code of Ethics is a reference tool that helps guide daily practice and reinforce an institutional culture based on integrity, transparency, and consistency with Guttmann's mission and values. In this sense, the Code of Ethics is one of the instruments that promote good institutional governance, fostering responsible decision-making and consolidating a shared framework of conduct that strengthens the trust of those we serve, their families, and the community.

The document also establishes that ethical behavior is the responsibility of everyone within the organization, as well as the companies and entities that collaborate with it, and that the Board of Trustees, the management team, and supervisors must be role models in applying these principles in decision-making and team leadership.
