It is for me a great honour to reconnect with the Institut Guttmann and see how this university institute, established when I was Director General of Universities, is achieving a high level of research. My satisfaction is increased seeing that the UPC (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) actively collaborates with many of their research projects. May it be for many years and many congratulations.

In politics one must know how to take on innovative challenges, in this case aimed at people with disabilities in San Sebastián Guipúzcoa. And the truth is that the Institut Guttmann is a benchmark example. I am confident that we have the will and the support to have a leisure and sports rehabilitation space for our citizens.
I am overjoyed to visit the facilities of Fundación Institut Guttmann, because they demonstrate the merit, worth, effort, authority and excellence of a magnificent team.
