Team Guttmann advances in the Skoda Titan Desert Morocco.

Already in Morocco, the Guttmann team, made up of professionals and former patients with spinal cord injury and brain damage, are facing the great challenge with great difficulty for the team, such as the first section of dunes, the rain, and large elevation changes.
1st stage: Dunes that, thanks to the hard previous training, the team has found the best way to face. A demanding day that tested endurance, concentration and collaboration.
2nd stage: The rain has forced the organization to modify the planned route, converting a stage of 120 km into a 140. Despite the accumulated fatigue and the added challenge of the change in itinerary, the team has completed the timed section in 3 hours and 44 minutes.
3rd stage: The nine members have shone in a mountain stage of 90 km and 1,328 meters of elevation gain,
4th stage: After more than 100 kilometers and without any external assistance, the Institut Guttmann team has successfully completed the first part of the demanding marathon stage of the Titan Desert 2025. The accumulated fatigue and the conditions of the race have put their physical and mental endurance to the limit. This emblematic stage forces the participants to be self-sufficient, carrying everything necessary to rest and continue the next day: sleeping bag, tools, supplementation and clothing. For the team, this challenge is even greater due to the specific care needs they require. We wish them luck and send them encouragement and strength!
