On Saturday 25th February almost 30 people, ex patients and families, enjoyed a sunny day in the snow, accompanied by a professional of the Institut Guttmann and monitors of the activity.

With different technical aids, depending of individual capacities, all participants were allowed to ski and permit the benefits of the sport practice in the natural surroundings. Adapted sports have become a powerful therapeutic tool to improve health, the degree of functional autonomy and the self-esteem.

Promoting adapted sports and the development of inclusive sports form part of the Institut Guttmann objectives and, therefore, of social activities and social awareness that the Institut Guttmann carries out.
