Last March, a delegation of twenty-two professionals from the John Bost Foundation visited Guttmann Barcelona. The group held a working meeting in the Agora room and later visited the facilities with Ms. Marta Sans, head of the Guttmann Barcelona Life flats, Ms. Eulàlia Solis, coordinator of the neuropsychology area, and Mr. Manel Ochoa, head of rehabilitation.

The aim of the visit was to learn first-hand about the approach that Guttmann Barcelona takes to our patients, both from the point of view of care at the Institute of Brain Health and Neurorehabilitation, especially pathologies related to neuropsychiatric disorders, and the promotion of independent living at the Guttmann Barcelona Life flats.

The John Bost Foundation was created in France in 1848 and welcomes people with psychiatric problems and people with disabilities and dependence. Its aim is to help these people to lead as independent a life as possible and it employs educational staff, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers and doctors.
