Yesterday the 37th edition of the El Corte Inglés race was launched at a press conference, which this year will support Institut Guttmann, coinciding with the celebration of our 50th anniversary. El Corte Inglés has chosen our organisation as an Associated Social Entity, supporting not only our anniversary but also in recognition of our history.
It is worth noting that the El Corte Inglés race has not only become a benchmark event for the city of Barcelona, but is also the second largest race in the world in terms of participants, with more than 65,000 runners, a figure which is only exceeded by the Hong Kong Marathon.

This year’s race will be held on Sunday 12 April at 9:30 a.m., with the start line at the intersection of Passeig de Gràcia and Gran Via. Participants will cover the main streets of Barcelona during 10 km of the course, until they arrive at the mountain of Montjuïc, pass through the Olympic Stadium and arrive back at Plaça de Catalunya. Registration, which is free, can be carried out through the official website (www.cursaelcorteingles.cat) until Thursday, 9 April at 10:00 p.m. or in person at the various Hipercor and El Corte Inglés shopping centres in Catalonia until the day before the race.

We encourage everyone to participate, as this year's El Corte Inglés Race is also our race.
