The Zurich Marathon of Barcelona, a challenge of 42km along the streets of the city, was celebrated once again. A group of professionals from the Institut Guttmann joined it for representing the inclusion and helping two children of pediatric rehabilitation to achieve the challenge.

Our "pink panthers", as they have denominated themselves for wearing fuchsia color shirts of the Institut Guttmann, ran the Marathon in a group and reached the finish line with success. Two patients of our hospital's Children's Rehabilitation Unit, Pol Ritter, who is 10 years old, and Eva Boada, who is 11, also achieved this success with great enthusiasm thanks to the fact that our professionals took turns to push their chairs in two groups of four participants.

We would like to point out that this year the winner of the Zurich Marathon of Barcelona has been Jonah Kipkemoi Chesum, a Kenyan Paralympic athlete that participated in the Games of London 2012. Besides, he has been the first participant of this Marathon hired to play as a hare to set a strong rhythm.

Congratulations to Sergi, Marcel, Joan Enric, Miquel, Jordi, Dani, Carlos and Alex for this success!
