Inauguration of new Neurorehabilitation Hospital in Badalona.
Chief promoter in Spain of the concept of intensive gait training and gait rehabilitation techniques with partial suspension of body weight.

Creation and development of the Clinical Research Unit in neurorehabilitation and technology applied to disability.
2004
Creation of the Social Participation Council of the Institut Guttmann, the first of its kind in Spain.
Agreement with Spaulding Rehabilitation Centre and Harvard University for the Spanish issue of the rehabilitation magazine "Rehab in Review."

First in Spain to incorporate the LOKOMATgait rehabilitation system .
First call for medical fellowships in Spain to obtain the Expert diploma in neurorehabilitation.

Launching of the computer and pre-employment initiation classroom, with the support of Fundación ONCE.

Launching of the post-polio care programme, a pioneer project in Spain.
First implants in Spanish territory of diaphragmatic pacemaker and neurostimulators for the treatment of clubfoot.

Recognition as a centre of reference in neurorehabilitation by the Government of Andorra.

Diaphragmatic pacemaker implant in two children, one of which has the lowest weight in the world.

ISO 14001 Accreditation obtained, which certifies compliance with environmental protection policies in all processes of the organisation.

Accredited as a national centre of reference (CSUR) in Comprehensive Care for Patients with Complex Spinal Cord Injuries by the Consejo Interterritorial del Sistema Nacional de Salud (Inter-territorial Council of the National Health System)
