Hospital discharge results
• 91 % of patients return home.
• The therapeutic team achieves an average of 94% of the rehabilitation goals set for each patient upon admittance to the unit.
• In terms of FUNCIONALITY:
– Patients with CRANIOENCEPHALIC TRAUMATISM consequences
– The "Disability Rating Scale" (DRS) shows an average 5.09 point improvement in the functional assessment of patients upon discharge compared to when they were admitted.
– The "Rancho los Amigos Cognitive Functioning Scale" (LCFS) shows that 64 % of the patients treated in 2011 improved by 1 or more levels.
At admittance, 62% were found to be between levels II and VI; by the time they were discharged, 77% were found to be between levels VII and VIII.
– Patients with ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY OF A VASCULAR ORIGIN consequences
– The Barthel Scale shows an average 21.5 points improvement in patients upon discharge compared with when they were admitted
• 2 / 5 year hospital discharge results:
- Ability in the home. 29% / 33% of patients are autonomous in their basic activities of daily living and instrumental activities performed at home.

22% / 15% can control their personal finances (pay bills, use money...).
- 27% / 24% plan and carry out social activities in an autonomous fashion.
- Level of community integration. 85% / 87% leave the house every day. 86% / 81% participate in leisure activities accompanied by family members not affected by brain damage.
- Production, work and training activities 8% / 2% of patients work or study more than 20 hours a week.
