The Institut Guttmann offers a free, accessible, and free-of-charge cognitive stimulation service to people over the age of 50 who are confined home by covid-19, and for whom the current situation of isolation and confinement can be a risk important for your brain health.

Occurring confinement causes the mind to focus on issues or questions that override our ability to act to cope with the situation, or increase our perception of stress, anxiety, etc. The literature shows that all this affects our brain health.

That is why and these days, the Institut Guttmann offers its cognitive stimulation platform to anyone from home (especially those over the age of 50 because they are the most affected and those at greatest risk) so that they can do a cognitive training at home that presents challenges and exercises that stimulate their brain and challenge their ability to think and help them to have a more active mind in their daily lives during the confinement.

The system is free, open to all, and allows you to enter and select tasks and exercises that must be done a maximum of 3 times a week, for 30 minutes and a maximum of 8 weeks.

  • The platform is called Guttmann, NeuroPersonalTrainer and you can try it out here:  https://open.gnpt.es
