The Council of Ministers has approved the Royal Decree that puts an end to the mandatory use of masks in health centers, hospitals, pharmacies and socio-sanitary centers, given that although Covid is still present, it no longer represents a situation of health crisis.

For that, masks will continue to be mandatory in operating theatres, ICUs and hospital areas with people in critical condition or immunocompromised and it is also recommended or highly recommended to use a mask for vulnerable people or for those who show symptoms of a respiratory infection that could infect others others.
