On Wednesday 3 May, sign up for the Open Day of the Permanent Training Master in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, a University Master's Degree of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) organised by the Institut Guttmann.

In this informative session you will have the opportunity to learn about the professional team and the main career opportunities. In addition, those attending the classroom format will have a tour of the facilities of the Neurorehabilitation hospital accompanied by the professionals of the Institut Guttmann.

Programme of the session:

  • Institutional welcome by Dr. Joan Vidal, teaching director of the Institut Guttmann.
  • Description of the Master by Dr. Alberto García-Molina, coordinator of the Permanent Training Master degree in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation.
  • Testimonial by Macarena Gil, neuropsychologist at the Guttmann Barcelona Institute of Brain Health and Neurorehabilitation and former student.

The Permanent Training Master degree in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation lasts 2 years and offers an advanced training programme aimed at professionals with a university degree in Psychology who wish to acquire or improve their knowledge and skills in the neuropsychological rehabilitation of people with brain damage or neurodevelopmental disorders. Face to face theoretical classes will be taught with different teaching methodologies and 2,200 hours of clinical practice will also be carried out in the two healthcare centres that constitute the Institut Guttmann; the Neurorehabilitation hospital and the Guttmann Barcelona Institute of Brain Health and Neurorehabilitation.
