The scientific activity of Institut Guttmann is based on its Strategic Plan of Research, the main goals of which are the following:

To boost the development and introduction of new knowledge in the area of neuroscience. |

To integrate activities carried out in the fields of research, both medical and knowledge transfer, in order to find better care alternatives for our patients. |

To promote cooperation alliances and agreements with institutions and organizations similar to ours. |

To establish a biannual plan of action to improve the use of available resources. |
The plan will be promoted, managed and supervised by the Education and Research Committee, formed by hospital health practitioners and experts from universities and scientific areas. The Research Office, led by the Research Coordinator, a member of the Management of Institut Guttmann, will answer for the execution of the plan.
